BIO : Yan 420, member of Northspace Crew is a Czech guy called Jan, who after several years of anabasis, took root in the northern Czech town of Nový Bor. His musical interests run through a wide river of musical currents. He lets go of the waves of hardcore, metal, hip-hop, punk, crossover, reggae and dub, as well as world music, jazz, funk, experimental electronics, techno, house music and classical music. He first sniffed DJing around 2001 when he started taking his first pieces of vinyl after falling in love at first hearing. At the time, it was experimenting with acid house, hard techno and minimal, and the first psychedelic parties for a few friends began to take place. A decade in the hardcore band and hosting related musical projects followed, when classical DJing faded into the background, followed by a period of several years when it was impossible to play due to frequent moves with a backpack on his shoulders.
He reappeared behind the turntables sometime in 2016, when, as a citizen of New Bor City, he dusted off his headphones, acquired his dream silver Technics 1200 and became very interested in listening to deep and tech house, which he began shopping on his beloved vinyl. After years of DJ pause, he played publicly again in 2018 at the local bar Čerňák and since then he likes to play where people's ears are open and they want to have fun. In his set you will find especially tech house, deep house and minimal, at a speed of around 125 BPM.
