Luise presents one of her dearest friends: With LUL#005, Constantijn Lange shares his impressions of the mystifying nature and culture of Morocco. In 'Orange Atlas', your mind travels through the kingdom, as Constantijn melts together field-recordings with his unique sense for acoustic expression.

The uplifting 'Rote Nacht' (A1) reveals the contrasting energy between the tumultuous city and the silent mountain, before gently giving way to the feelings of the exotic seascape in 'Essaouira' (A2). Delicately, yet suprising as ever, Acid Pauli rearranges the warm drums in 'Essaouira' (B1) to let your spirit rest in an imagined, green oasis, before it’s completely taken away by the lightness of the seabirds in 'Taghazout' (B2).

We are happy to welcome Mennie &amp; Diavolo to Great Stuff, both are taking us on an old school - jacking house trip with their latest EP.

Freaks is a driving and energetic monster, that reminds us of the good old days of Chicago house. It&#8217;s wrapped around wonderfully bottom heavy beats and a stomach swirling bassline. The track finds it&#8217;s peak when the pitched vocal snippets and the mesmerizing strings, groove along next to each other in total harmony. Turn up the bass, is our credo for this one.

Warp Melody is following the same path, with the focus being even more on the snappy, march-ing groove and bass. Momentum is built with plenty of filtered breakdowns and subtle effect work. The precise snare drum and hi-hat patterns are the tracks cream on the pie. 

Italy&#8217;s Mennie is giving Warp Meldody his special treatment. Presenting an edit that is just as effective as the original while using less resources. Putting the groove in front of all other parts was a very smart decision we think, and will secure Mennie&#8217;s edit a prime time slot in countless dj sets.

Maxim created the ICE LP within a timespan of 3 years, mostly while traveling throughout Germany by train, touring as part of the Günther Lause duo. The LP portrays the complex networks of railways and tunnel systems that permeate the earth like artificial veins. Sonically it is very much inspired by the soundscapes of urban spaces and rail stations, the pulsing motions of modern mass transportation, which he captured in various field recordings that are mixed into the dub techno influenced atmospheres. 

Vinyl will be limited to 500 copies.
