SPACETRIP is serving as Davey West's debut album, even though YKNC was the first studio album officially released by Davey in 2018. "I was just putting sh*t together on YKNC, I didn't even drop it under my own label because I was fu*king with some other sh*t at the time..." Nonetheless, Spacetrip takes us on a quick rocket boosted guide through a galaxy unknown to us, and one that Davey West considers home. Starting out with a mellow vibe on Loyalty, we get a bit of an introspective pov from Davey as he croons about real love and loyalty. Spacetrip is a mix of a few different vibes coming together in one package. On Spacetrip Davey West B is providing eleven songs for different moods and settings, which makes sense, because when you are roaming through the galaxies unknown regions, there are many different beings, entities, atmospheres, and a plethora of things to pay attention too along the way.
