Far too many times do I have a tendency to procrastinate, hecc, I even procrastinated making this very track for about 3 whole weeks. But out of that frustration did the idea of writing about Carpe Diem come to mind. 


To live in the moment is the ultimate gift and one that is very often taken for granted. In many respects, that is the meaning of life itself. I wish for everyone to enjoy the moments they spend amongst family, friends, and even within themselves, for there do you find the answers to many of your problems :) 

I wanna give a HUGE thank you to Filipe for allowing me to use his 3D model "Vindicate". He was kind enough to help me on such short notice with the development of the artwork and I couldn't be happier. It matches the aesthetic, and tone of the track. Hey!

It's been a year now since YMIR released FALL - on May 22nd 2021.
During this time, I learned to grow comfort in singing, producing and - most of all - actually releasing music.
After making both the cover and this remix now, I feel ready for pursuing my own songs and start making original content. I cannot wait to actually give birth to projects, venture out into the world of my personal creativity and present that all to you.

YMIR - FALL (ARYZE Remix)

RISE is a unique one. When I was working on the EP, I knew I wanted to continue the story of FALL in some way. The Riff at the end of FALL was perfect for something more rock, so I decided to build it into its own track. In the end I got some help from my guitarist and drummer from my band, and the song became this insanely energetic anthem that felt perfect to conclude the saga of the EP.

I will tell you right now, I will most likely not be singing these screams live for a long time lol...I lost my voice and am still recovering (2 weeks in) lol. But know that I will try to one day get my screaming chops up to give this badboi the love it deserves!

EDIT* MY VOICE IS HEALED AND I'VE BEEN SINGING THIS LIVE. It's been absolutely magical and terrifying to attempt even small portions of this live, but it makes for a phenomenal finishing track <3 Thankyall for enjoying it so much!

Masquerade is a really perfect segway from skins as both talk about wearing personalities as masks. It's some of my favorite verses I've ever produced, and Kai did a crazy job bringing 2 Drops that brought the energy the song deserved. Finishing off the year with one more label release, This one starts my journey with the illustrious Monstercat! I am super honored to now be a part of their team, cause this was a personal dream of mine for a looong time XD

Tripwire is a bit more about romance and deeper love. Being inspired by demons/spiders/vampires, Tripwire engages the classic love stories but with some very exhilarating/mystifying imagery ;)
