In the same vein as 'About Damn Time' by Lizzo and explores the new wave of pop-funk and post-disco vibes in mainstream music. It is fun and reminiscent of a time when dancing was front and centre. It calls for higher tropical/Caribbean energies, regardless of location. Global fun.

This is a song for/message to anyone who is different, living with a disability or disease, learning about themselves and/or trying to find their place in a world where the worst of humanity is readily shared, regardless of impact. It has been released on Zero Discrimination Day 2022 to support such people and say 'you deserve to be able to live your best life'.

Though not fluent in Spanish, Y-INTEL wanted to show some appreciation for the language and versatility in his musical repertoire. It is his first song done completely in another language. The inspiration to have this visualisation came during his first visit to CABA, Argentina. He hopes Spanish-speaking people around the world can enjoy listening to it as much as he did making the song and video.

Singing is breathing. Writing is oxygen. That's Y musyc!

Formerly known as 'Y', Y-INTEL has been singing from an early age, including on church choirs and in singing competitions as part of ensembles and clubs, often as lead. 

After years of writing poetry (Poems from the Musing series, available under the name Yohan S.R. Lee on Amazon) and being home more than usual during COVID-19, he began exploring his longtime dream/passion - making his own music. 

In May 2021, he released his first album, STRANDS. He experiments with different sounds and takes on a wide range of topics he finds interesting. Music, even more so than poetry, is an avenue through which he can share his stories on struggles, realisations, and hopes. If he sings it, he's lived it, seen it, or learned from it. 

The singer-songwriter from Jamaica, living in Arnhem, the Netherlands, will release his second album in 2022.
