I really enjoy music, and it excites me when people find their true musical connection. And so to create new music, is an incredible opportunity to bless both yourself and those around you. Nature is full of incredible music, and the flow of it can be taken in as sound or music. Music is the artform, and it is written endlessly through the connections that all beings of life make with one another and the incredible Nature around them, they are both the artists and the art forms. And from my side, to all who persevere to unlock the mysteries, messages and magics of music with love and kindness and unbiased reception, those who choose to see and hear and listen deeper, to all of you I say, respect and enjoy.

Yo Grapes is the indie-pop solo act of Craig Durrant, who also happens to be the drummer of local indie/ rock fellows Desmond and the Tutus. Craig has been creating, releasing and performing songs since 2011 and has since found a loyal following of fans in a whole bunch of different places. People seem to enjoy songs like ‘Holiday’, ‘December’ and ‘Human of the Week’ which are a combination of made up stories, true life events and other words that rhyme or sound nice in the moment. 

In 2016, Yo Grapes started to release the next wave of tracks with ‘I Play The Drums’ being the first single. The song got radio play on national and local stations across South Africa - if that means anything to you. The next single ‘Weekend Shy Boy’ was released in 2017.

In 2019, Yo Grapes is releasing a series of singles starting with 'Cool Around You' which will be out on 16.5.2019
