Belgian born and Halle (Saale) resident, Max Phal, also known as Gobo, is a vinyl only DJ and producer whose musical style hovers between many shades of electronic music, ranging from deep dubby house sounds to straight techno. Only one rule dictates his musical selection: the music shall not be made to appeal to the masses. In the recent years, he has become an active member and DJ resident of the “Unterdruck” collective in which he helps shaping the underground music scene of his beloved hosting city Halle (Saale).

In the echoing chambers of music's twilight, lurks the elusive Rune - a spectral DJ of cosmic vibrations. Since '79, Rune has plundered the vinyl archives, tracing melodies through time's murky depths. From '83, he's been spinning tales in the shadows, an insatiable seeker of sonic enlightenment.

With each beat, Rune conjures a symphony of mystery and allure, infecting the airwaves with infectious rhythms and clandestine cadences. His Universal Beats channel serves as a clandestine portal, unveiling unearthed treasures to the intrepid seekers of auditory transcendence.

Yet, it's in the dimly lit dens of Denmark and Sweden's cultural haunts where Rune's enigmatic aura truly captivates. There, amidst the pulsating throngs, he weaves his sonic sorcery – an alchemical blend of acid, dub techno, and the pulsating beats of yesteryears. In the world of Rune Cosmic, the past and present converge in a hypnotic dance, echoing whispers of forgotten eras and electrifying rhythms.

Heavily influenced by the acid house/rave scene “back in the day” at parties like Resurrection, Awesome 101's & Sweatbox, Rob Murray started his DJ journey with passion and verve. He’d put in the hours practicing at home and played at every party he got the opportunity to. Encouraged by friends to hand out mixes on cassette tapes, his audience soon grew and his name started to become known as a reliable selector by ravers and fellow DJ’s alike. One such follower was Scottish rave heavyweight DJ ZBD who Rob handed a mix tap at their local record shop in Kirkcaldy. Club gigs started to come his way including performances at Meltdown at Carlton Studios. He was on the right track to keep raising his profile but then had to put things on hold when he took on a job that would take him overseas for some time. After a long break Rob Murray is back doing what he loves. With residencies on 4TM and Waves Radio shows he is able to showcase his love for indie dance, acid house, chug and downtempo and his audience is once again growing, as is reputation.
