What about the girls is a metaphor for saving the planet. If the world was losing all its females. There would be a lot more things going on to stop that, I'm sure. Why are the governments of this world intent on slowing down the change. Before we know it, it will be too late. 
So the track will take you through the emotions of asking (What about the environment) What about the girls. As you listen to the track you will find yourself with the emotions and feelings that give you the slip and other's may cause friction. These can all be related to the earth.
