With a gifted mind and an unbreakable spirit, Yoel is a rising star who is rapidly ascending through the New York hip hop scene.  Raised in Uptown, a combination of upper Manhattan and the south side of the Bronx, he grew up immersed in rap culture.  At nine years old, his father gifted him a new boom-box, setting him on the path to become a musician. He started writing poetry while still in Junior High School, which quickly led to freestyling and battling with his peers.  In no time at all, he had become obsessed with the art and craft of hip hop.  Using his trials and struggles as fuel, he started pouring his feelings into his music. The result is a brutally honest style that veers from poignant and insightful creative thoughts.  He released his first mixtape in 2013, followed by a series of singles, but they were unable to achieve the success he craved. Undaunted, Yoel redirected himself to his music, challenging himself to reach new heights and studying the inner workings of the industry.
