Broken Dreams

On a stage where the light never lingers,
We wear the roles that each moment threads.

Masks slip from skin, shedding so light,
And silence rehearses what waits to be spoken.
In the weave that the body quietly bears,
What is shadow and will stand raw, awoken.

We are bodies in a story unbound,
Figures that dance with no destined line.
Each word draws the hour in fleeting rounds,
In a tale that time drafts, close and fine.
Between applause and scenes of fire,
Identity folds, reveals not its wire.

Beneath the veil of curtains raised,
We shift in form, leaving no trace.
What was rehearsal, now improvises the gaze,
And the role unspools, a crumpled grace.
Each step etches out what sight won’t find,
The stage calls echoes from depths untold.
Between being and acting, a tangled bind,
Where I and the other tremble, unfold.

Ancient scenes breathe once again,
The play never ceases, only renews.
And the body, in constant creation,
Draws lines that time diffuses, unglued.
Each act, a sketch torn apart,

At This Time Of The Evening

Presence is not stability;
it fractures, reverberates—
an unstable murmur where bodies withdraw
from the burden of edges.
The outline wavers,
folds inward.
"I" is an unfinished utterance,
an origin abandoned
before it begins.

I do not accumulate,
nor am I erased.
I persist as deviation,
a fragile suspension between arrival and loss.
To exist is to unravel,
to slip through the lattice of certainty
into the shifting terrain of disappearance.

The gaze does not secure;
it frays.
To look is to undo:
the face seen liquefies in the act,
becoming residue,
less presence than dispersal.
Definition is a violence,
a collapsing of boundaries that
imprisons both seer and seen
within a structure that denies flux.

To be multitude
is to surrender the privilege of name.
To relinquish unity.
There is no coherence in the collective;
only the low hum of instability.
Each movement breaks a thread.
Each breath disperses into silence,
a silence so dense it erases itself.

In spaces where weight lifts
and form uncoils,
the idea of being fractures.
Existence does not hold.
It scatters into unseen gestures,
impressions too transient to possess.
No form belongs—
and none remains.

The other slips free,
an interval in flight,
no axis to pin it.
And I,
neither fixed nor returning,
am a wave refusing rhythm.
Between these fragments,
there is no union,
only a stillness formed of disintegration.
