South African based psy-trance DJ & label Manager of Expo Records. Dynamic Range is Known for his articulate mixing and aggressive approach to full power, full on psychedelic trance sets. This reputation has won him sets all over South Africa from Earthdance in Johannesburg to the thriving festival scene in Cape Town- with notable appearances at rezonance 2014/15/16, Alien Safari Sprung, Tribe, bear trap, Organik, Earthdance Cape Town, The Village and more.

Not to be classed by sub genre or set time, Dynamic Range is known for filling any slot on a line up, from the mid day 'rejuvenating' set right through to his transition sets from progressive to fullon or vice versa- "Bridging the Gap" as he so likes to put it.

When asked about his style, Dynamic Range is quick to point out that he plays “Journey” sets. Unplanned, each set is different. You are taken on a journey from slow to fast, darkness into light, aggressive into up right psychedelic funk- It is about creating a connection with the audience and feeding off the crowd- That is how you get the best response.

Dynamic Ranges addiction to psychedelic music lead to the founding of Expo records in 2013. Now in its fourth year of existence, quality has been the one prerequisite with great releases from the likes of Hypnoise, Earthspace, Ilai, Shivatree, Intelligence, Attik, Hypnocoustics, SHX, K.I.M, Cylon, Spectrasonics, Labirinto, Relativ, Imaginarium and more. Dynamic Ranges first VA entitled "Bridging the Gap” received rave reviews around the world and is a true testament to his knack for finding quality psytrance not bound by tempo. January 2017 we will see the release of the much anticipated volume 2, and it promises to include 9 cutting edge tracks for the fans.

Ricardo Gütz entrou na cena musical em meados de 2000 no litoral catarinense inspirado por sets de psytrance no vinil. A música o chamou literalmente a tocar, estudar, aperfeiçoar a mixagem e produzir sua música. Desenvolvendo a paixão por instrumentos, tecnologias e conceitos harmônicos e físicos de áudio. Criou mais tarde o projeto Tribal Yaohu, também a gravadora Solariom Records onde lança sua música e outros artistas. Gütz/Tribal Yaohu já se apresentou por alguns estados do país a serviço da música. Lançou quatro discos, dois autorais, dois VA's e agora trabalha no seu terceiro álbum.

A apresentação ao vivo do Tribal  é um contínuo de ideias tocadas, gravadas e mixadas ao vivo, experimental e dinâmicas que surgem no tempo e em muitos tempos. Velocidades altas e baixas em alterações sutis de darkpsy tribal. Ambiências naturais, harmônicas e étnicas despertam e aguçam o sistema sensorial da pista, com timbres afinados em 432hz nos vsts digitais e syntetizador analógico. Percussões graves e agudas criam ritmos trance que se alteram constantemente com baixos gordos e bem marcados para despertar novas conversações psicodélicas e espirituais via a arrepiante transe modular de ondas, frequências e timbres.

DLC is one very crazy man and his two imaginary friends sally & tim. This imaginary trio hails from sydney. DLC has taken it upon them self to make the most twacked out, thumping, groovin, funkadlic, messy, swell of noise the call music. (term music used loosley!) With Upcoming Live sets up and down the east coast of Australia in early 2010 this puppet master and his imaginary puppets is sure to create a stir... pushing and poking the dancefloor everywhich way!
