Premiere: Rødhåd 'Target Line' (feat Vril)

From cult local beginnings on the Berlin circuit, Rødhåd is now very much part of the global DJ highway. What initially turned heads was his ability to hold down long and hypnotic sets of loopy, moody house and techno all masterfully mixed in immersive ways. His productions, too, mixed sparse ambient designs with rolling techno grooves on labels like Dystopian and Token, and just this month he put out his debut album, Anxious. It’s a filmic meditation on beautifully bleak and eerie sounds and is another reason we love the man after he turned in a memorable closing set on our UFO stage at this year’s Dekmantel Festival. 

Over a ninety minute live mix recorded recently, he gets more energised with plenty of hurried techno and urgent synth lines all tightly weaving round each other. It’s a high pressure and enchantingly linear set that touches on Millsian space vibes, industrialism and unhinged apocalypse music in one smoothly mixed and sequenced session that will leave you out of breath.

Instead of worshipping the last places in this society where you can have fun and excitement, you see them fading away and being replaced by a soulless building filled with people in working uniform.
You cry, you feel powerless and helpless. The place you love is going to be invaded by construction machines, flattened and made even with the ground. So, you decide to take that opportunity and go rave one last time in that trashy place that you love so much.
Even though everyone knows this is the last party there, you can only see smiling faces. People are there to enjoy the music and what can be better than some fast pace techno? Every time that you are in Griessmuehle you can feel how much passion people have for dancing culture, especially young ones. It gives you so much hope towards what is going to happen next!
The music takes you with an unimaginable force and makes you dance until you are wet from sweat. You forget about your worries for a bit. You are there to dance!!
You are surrounded by people dancing: ravers! Dancing on the beat like a unit. What a feeling?! 
You realize how important this part of your life has become! And you are ready to fight for its existence.

Despite of a club-less time, we move on releasing contemporary club music. Hamburg based Luxembourgian loverboy MAXIMILLION lands with the „No Sleep EP“ for AUM029. Besides being a convertible musician with several projects of different genres, he released on labels like Tonkind or Golden Gate Club Rec. and is co-running the Lauter Records! Alongside two splendid originals, we are happy to present a remix by Mr Kassette CLICK CLICK, as well as another one by label head BEE LINCOLN.
The original of „No Sleep“ is a tribute to Berlin nightlife and its endless weekends. Maximillion combines various aspects in this tune: a rough sounding stripped-down rhythm with anthem-like spheres, voicing by himself and ending up in a peaky synth fire. Let’s rave!
„Click Click’s Awake Since 95 Mix“ is exactly what he loves to do most at these times: Acid! Deeply rooted on the basics of electronic music, he simply uses the 808 drum machine and 303 acid sounds including the smoky voice. As easy and as effective as it could be. Timeless work!
Bee Lincoln takes it on to a hypnotic power groove minimal remix. Turning the synth into a dark chord and chopping the vocals, provides another different flavor in the manner of ‚No Sleep but a remix‘.
Second track by Maximillion is an ode to all people who work for a „Good Food Delivery“ and ease our lifes for sunday home chilling. In fact it’s a completely mind-sticking ear worm with the potential for being a long-living festival tune.

Heute ist der pakistanische/malaysische Künstler Abeer auf KataHaifisch zu Gast. Sein 61 minütiger Mix ist eine wohlklingende Mischung aus Deep- House mit Tech Elementen und mündet in einen feurigen Melodic Techno Klangteppich. 
Abeer ist von Beruf Toningenieur, dass Auflegen und Mixen sind sein Hobby. Sein musikalischer Geschmack wurde dabei von den unterschiedlichsten musikalischen Richtungen und Einflüssen geprägt. Dies spiegelt sich auch in der Vielfältigkeit seiner Podcasts wieder. Kein Genre ist ihm zu exotisch, kein Style ein Tabu. In der Vergangenheit veröffentlichte er seine Musik auf Plattformen wie Deep Stories, Husa-, oder auch Deeper Sounds.
