RITA'S RHYHTMIC REMEDIES #4

For the third year in a row DJ Blisstina returns to curate the annual Thanksgiving morning "Gratitude Day Dance".
In the spirit of creating annual traditions, this will follow past year's themes with the intention of raising the vibration by dancing in gratitude.

Pretty simple, really......
No matter how tough life gets, or how crazy the world seems to be, there is still so much to be grateful for. Let this special holiday morning dance serve as an opportunity to come together with community in a spirit of connection, positivity, hope, resiliency, and giving thanks!

Day of Gratitude @ Thanksgiving Coalessence Ecstatic Dance 2018

I crafted this set while flying over the Western United States on a magical winter's morning in December.  The photo is one that was captured during the flight of the magical sunrise coming up over the horizon.  As I travelled and composed this journey, I was feeling so connected to the great expansive world passing by down below me.......like I could feel myself more connected to the entire planet, not just one little pocket of the earth where I normally reside.  From this place of connection to the greater whole, I began to recognize the immense gratitude I have for simply being alive.....for the gift of being able to experience such a vast world in this strange and beautiful human experience.  What a miracle it is that I can instantly listen to music made all over this great planet....to the great valleys of Africa, to the mountain tops of the Andes, to bustling urban cities.  What a trip, right!?  And even though the world is full of chaos, suffering, and transition.....still, I am so glad that I am here, right now.....and I am gonna dance my bootay off every day to celebrate this moment to be alive here!

This beautiful collaborative effort is the result of the convergence of three friends from around the world. Bachan combines her beautiful heart-opening voice with the first time collaboration of producers Mose & Binder. What started as a solo remix by Mose flowered into the magic it is with the special touch of Binder who joined the project and took a deep dive into the foundation set by Mose & Bachan. This is my live set, from an incredible evening at Lucid Satelight in Berlin, it was an honor for me to play a live set for like-minded souls at a gathering where I feel at home.   

These are the kind of gatherings that resonates deeply with me as my work has become about tuning into the field and serving as a conduit through sound to help create an opening for balance those who listen and dance to my sets. 

As I navigate the challenges upon me at this time, music has been my salvation and I hope the music that is coming through me touches you in a similar way that it has for me as I travel the path of coming home and tunning my body into full balance.
