The sun was high, the wind slowed down, and for a moment it felt like time did too. Midday Saturday, TJ Alfano stepped in with a steady hand and a crate full of voltage—rhythms that cracked the haze and zapped the dancefloor awake. It was the perfect reset: tight grooves, machine funk, pulling us into a deep, locked-in zone. Conversations faded, heads nodded, and for an hour or two, the forest felt wired. You had to be there.

Ahead of his debut for us on the 19th of July, we asked Louie to put together a mix for us.

The result is a carefully constructed 90 minute journey through his wide-ranging record bag of EBM, techno and electro infused sounds. 

Louie has been a good friend of ours for some time now, a seasoned digger and this mix is a statement of his selecting and mixing skills. 

We’re ecstatic to supply this mix a platform, and even more excited for Louie to join us in a few weeks time at City Pride.

Next up in the Sounds Nice series we welcome Pistaccio, the Aus-based artist whose music first caught our ear with a lovely release on Magic Carpet not too long ago.

Since then, Oren has been continuing to deliver some very classy records including his latest on Perspective, well worth checking out if you haven’t already. His contribution to our podcast series delivers exactly what he does best, an hour of lovely cruisy deep house, the perfect soundtrack to the tail end of summer.
