Cheeko FUÉ was released from a Florida correctional facility late October and immediately heading on his Blood & Roses tour. After being found guilty of a trafficking cocaine charge due to an informant; Cheeko FUÉ is now empowering other incarcerated fathers to use their talents to create legal platforms as entrepreneurs to take care of their family. Despite the difficulties of becoming a teenage father, Cheeko FUÉ has preserved his music career and fatherhood in spite of setbacks. His story was featured in major Hip Hop outlets like Ace Magazine(cover 2xs) 2019 and The White Couch with DJ Smallz Fall 2017.

Cheeko FUÉ says, “Despite the outcome, take responsibility for your actions. A negative outcome does not make your future. Grind hard to get where you want to go, and even when you get there, keep going. You cannot be a dreamer your entire life. You must make those dreams into reality.”


Tagged as an original, the industry has overlooked the flare of this Puerto Rican rapper. Cheeko Fue was signed to ATLANTA’s own BIG OOMP RECORDS (Febuary 2019) who is responsible for countless attributes to HipHop and The Music Industry

The Miami Times noted one of the rappers 2008 live performances, “The energy that this artist brings is electrifying and scary as hell in a good way. ”


Cheeko FUÉ teams with Cool J’s retailers, in March 2018, as the unofficial face of Champion in South Florida. He’s also published a theme song, “Champ”, representing the brand and tenacious spirit of a champion.

Cheeko FUÉ will be a teammate at the SXSW Celebrity basketball game March 17th, 2018 and performer at THE FUNKFEST 2019.

What can elevate the college starter to elite athlete status or the open mic champ to a Billboard chart topper? Competition breeds excellence, and it is this mantra which brought together rival producers Prometheus and Midas to create Clique Tracks. Gone are the days where they’d face off on major stages for beat battles, both winning and losing to each other on multiple occasions. These days, when the two meet up, they both come out victorious with their co-produced masterpieces.

Head-to-head competition in front of judges like The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and Fat Trel served as grooming for Midas and Prometheus to partner up as they were able to acquire mutual respect for one another’s abilities. “There was a point where we would see each other and know it was gonna be a tough battle to win because, ‘He’s here,’” said Midas.

The two quickly moved from conversations to collaborations which utilized Prometheus’ knack for percussion, sequencing, and post production with Midas’ musicianship and instrumentation expertise.

Midas, a Maryland native, came to embrace music early on, playing both piano and saxophone; however, Prometheus, who hails from Pennsylvania, got a late start. He attributes his dive into music to his first bad breakup for which the beats and melodies provided him much needed therapy.

While working with the independent studio and record label Sluggerz Entertainment during his college tenure, Midas was able to hone his production skills as their in-house producer. Meanwhile, Prometheus put in long hours watching Youtube tutorials to tap into his musical gift.

With a sense of trust between them, the duo is now in pursuit of their first major placement which is just within reach. They’ve already landed work with many top tier DMV artists such as Visto, Black Cobain, Rob Regal, Pro’Verb and Garvey the Chosen One, but they have their sights set on working with them all. “We can consistently make killer tracks. Our goal is to show the world what we can do and hopefully inspire someone to chase their dreams just like we are doing” said Prometheus.

Differing backgrounds and influences have proven to be key ingredients to their eclectic sound. Their differences inevitably shine through their production, making their sound innovative and exciting.

Midas and Prometheus bring various accolades to the table including victories at iSTANDARD,  the MADE in the DMV beat battle along with the 1VsMany beat battle. Their musical influences include: Timbaland, Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Johnny Juliano and more.
