Sérgio Leitão is the person behind Hydra-E, a twilight forest psytrance live act.
Hydra-E grew up amongst a family of musicians, putting him in touch with music since a very early age. He later developed a taste for electronic music. Sérgio was a DJ touching upon the realms of rock, metal, and trance, for several years, all the while we was developing Hydra-E on the background – until the day it couldn’t be hidden anymore.
Hydra-E is the result of years and years of carefully listening to psytrance and all different sonorities it entails.
The project started in 2016 , and many tracks have since been released on some of the best labels known today.

Happy New Year people! At the start of this new decade we keep streaming rocking music from our #Blackliters team of talented producers. First up is M-THEORY’s blasting live set recorded at the recent Universo Paralello, Brazil’s massive new year’s festival. 
M-THEORY is no stranger to big festivals. His very first appearance at Universo Paralello was back in 2007, just over a year before the release of his first full studio album. Since then he has been steadily releasing solid Eps, singles and collaborations, and has performed repeatedly at many leading festivals around the world such as Boom, Ozora, Antaris, Fusion, The Experience, Indian Spirit, Shankra and Sonica. 
M-THEORY features a distinctive and fat kick and bass sound with tight rhythms and quirky loops delivering a unique psychedelic groove. Contemporary, powerful and rhythmic – intoxicating stuff!

Universo Paralello was the 1st festival that I ever went to in 2011/2012, having the opportunity to come back after 8 years and play was an incredible experience! I played on the day of my 30th birthday :) what a gift!!
Thank you very much to everyone who is part of my life and gives me strength to follow my dreams <3

*** I re-record the set in my house using 2 CDJs 2000NX and a mixer DJM900, I tried to recreate what I played at the festival the sequence of the tracks is correct but some mixes might be slight different.

Gustavo Merolli discovered his desire to learn music as a child. He studied string instruments, falling in love with the vibrations of the sound, always interested in rhythms and melodies. In adolescence he met Psytrance. He identified with the acid sounds, crystalline bassline, intense atmospheres, futuristic textures and ambiences, bringing all the essence and energy of true psychedelic trance.

In harmony with the elements he makes a precise and explosive mix, maintaining a vibration and direct connection with the dancefloor. He builds a serious and introspective
story, catching the pure feeling of a psychedelic journey.

Living in south of Brazil he is member of the Undervision Crew, he has already performed at major festivals and parties at Rio Grande do Sul. Without prepared sets, he seeks a connection
with the dancefloor to lead everyone to an experience with their own interior.

Now as a Shaman he will spread the Digital psychedelic culture and sounds of this amazing family!

He fell in love with the strange and happy world of Psytrance Party and started his Dark Progressive DJ career in November 2020.
 He likes encouraging boogies and positive sounds, and his play style is conscious of not letting the audience get bored with kicks and bass development.

 In addition, he visited rave in various places and received a lot of inspiration, and in December 2020, he held a secret party "Magic hour" with his friends.
 He also started his career as an organizer.
 He is pursuing the happiest party with his Magic hour buddies.

Been Signed to Australian Label Another Psyde Records in 2022.
He is further expanding the scope of his activities.

In April 2024, the first Dark Progressive compilation album "Active Magic" was released in Japan.
He is also currently working on his second compilation album, scheduled for completion in 2023.

In 2023, he founded his own label, Magichour Recordings, with his friends.

Psytrance Partyの奇妙でハッピーな世界にハマり、2020年11月にDark Progressive DJのキャリアをスタート。
踊りやすくてポジティブなサウンドを好み、キックやベースの展開でオーディエンスを飽きさせない事を意識したプレイスタイル。

また、各地のレイヴに足を運び沢山の刺激を受け、2020年12月仲間と共にシークレットパーティ「Magic hour」を開催。
オーガナイザーとしてのキャリアもスタートさせる。
Magic hourの仲間と最高にハッピーなパーティを追求している。

2022年1月にオーストラリアのレーベルAnother Psyde Recordsに加入。
更に活動の幅を広げている。

2023年4月に日本初のDark Progressive のコンピレーションアルバム『Active Magic』を発売。
また、現在2作目のコンピレーションアルバムを製作中。2024年完成予定。
