Suspended Adrenaline

public enemy

feels like my life is passing me by
feels like my youth was full of wasted time
really who am i?
am i just some guy?

and when i feel small in my bed at night
tell my self that i’m gone be alright
i finally got this degree, that i never did need
but my parents are proud 

when i was sixteen, man, i thought i’d die
told myself i was too well gone to try
and now i’m 24, just like the same before,
stuck in the same rut and im still  wonderin why

why do i do it like this
why am i stuck in this shit
all these questions keep on bouncin round my head and i lie
to myself all the time
man i feel like im dyin

 cant keep it myself
never asked for some help
all these fuckin appointments with people got me so tired
im just tired of tryin
feel like im losin my mind

maybe i do it to myself
paranoid of offers of help
always been suspicious of wealth
with strings attached
dont fuck with that

why do i do it like this
why am i stuck in this shit
all these questions keep on bouncin round my head and i lie
to myself all the time
man i feel like im dyin
