Apex Music Group, previously Matrax Ent. & Alpha & Omega was founded in 2002 by Rayshard "K-Trak" Kinnemore. Formerly Lil KB, K-Trak was founded locally in 1998 by Scott "Cypress" Cornwell R.I.P, cousin David "Sky" Whatley & Eric "Stray Dogg" Jacobs of Rock-Town Clique. In 2012 K-Trak signed to a management deal with Defient Ent. by Doug Peterson Sr. A&R of Grand Hustle Records, K-Trak went on to produce "The Introduction" for Atlantic Records recording artist T.I. on his 8th studio album Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head.
