It is often said that the music industry is 90 % hustle and 10% talent. With a name like "Payroll Jackson", that lets you know from the beginning that this guy is about big business. The Planet Payroll Music/ Vizionary Muzic recording artist displays exemplary abilities in the studio and isn't lax when it comes to putting in the hard-work that’s needed to succeed in this industry.

Payroll Jackson has been pursuing music professionally for approximately a decade and has been honing his lyrical skills since the age of 13. His versatile ability is the key attribute that separates him from his counterparts. His well-rounded personality also makes it easy to stand out from the competition and is partially influenced by living in a few different cities. He traveled back and forth from his hometown of Cleveland, OH to Seattle, WA before eventually relocating to Phoenix, AZ. 

The seasoned-lyricist is influenced by a wide-range of talented artists such as: 2pac, Jay-Z, Scarface, Jadakiss, and more; however, his influences aren’t limited by geographical region or a certain "type"-as he appreciates good hip-hop without prejudice.

The registered BMI member is constantly solidifying his buzz by interacting with his fans via live performances. He's performed in several venues across the United States, in cities such as: Phoenix, Cleveland, Seattle, Tucson, and San Francisco. 

Payroll Jackson has learned an abundance of lessons throughout the years. "Everything in this business cost either time or money... so you have to be sure that you are doing the right things," he said. He has collaborated with several talented artists and producers
