Khamelah "KMelah" Mitchell was born and raised on the West of Chicago. She currently resides on the south side of Chicago. She is a Wife, Mother, Mentor, Teacher, business owner, and Rap Artist. She uses all of these avenues to Glorify Christ. She desires to REP Him to the best of her abilities. She became a Christian at the age of twenty three.  Before becoming a Christian, she battled with many self image issues which led to her attempting suicide on her life twice.  As a result, she took 11,000 grams of aspirin. She was waiting to die, BUT God didn't allow her to. She began to change and slowly the Lord captivated her heart and she has been rockin' with Him ever since.
She  realized no matter how good she was she couldn't earn anything from God because, He already gave it to her freely. She had to learn that God's love isn't like a human being loving her. His love is unconditional.
Since devoting her life to Christ, Khamelah has accomplished many great things. In 2006, She graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in Marketing Communication/Promotion from Columbia College in Chicago. She has been married for eight years, and now has two lovely girls.

She recently just started her own Marketing and Event planning service. The name of the company is   "Delicate Beast". She enjoys creating and writing music. Free styling  is also something she loves to do for fun! Most of all she loves being herself while glorifying God.
In her spare time, she also enjoys shopping, image consulting, event planning, bible studies, serving and helping others.

During the course of her life Khamelah has dealt with many things. Both of her parents were drug addicts, she experienced homelessness,  lived in foster homes, and group homes as well. Having dealt with many painful situations throughout her life, she desires to share her testimony through her music. She has a passion for younger and older women who are victims of abuse of all kinds. She plans to use all of her roles to edify and inspire people, and encourage them to trust God to deliver them as he has done for her. She has so much to share!! She is very thankful for all her fans and supporters. They are a blessing to her and she desires to be a blessing them.

READING, WRITING, PRODUCING, ARRANGING, ENGINEERING, THE WORKS. IF IT HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH MUSIC, I WANT IN. I PLAYED IN EVERY BAND POSSIBLE SINCE MIDDLE SCHOOL INCLUDING MARCHING, SYMPHONIC, JAZZ, AND WINTER PERCUSSION UNITS. I STARTED ON STAGE IN THE BLUES CIRCUIT WITH JEFF FLOYD, SERGIO DAVIS, AND MEL WAITERS. IN 2001 I WAS NAMED ALL-STATE NO. 2 HIGH-SCHOOL PERCUSSIONIST IN THE SATE OF ALABAMA AND NUMBER 1 IN THE SOUTH REGION OF ALABAMA. YOU KNOW THAT FEELING YOU GET WHEN YOU FINALLY GET SOMETHING YOU ALWAYS WANTED? MUSIC GIVES ME THAT FEELING NO MATTER WHAT I'M DOING. PLAYING, PRACTICING, PRODUCING, WHATEVER.......IT'S LIKE HEAVEN ON EARTH FOR ME. GOD HAS BLESSED ME TREMENDOUSLY AND I'D LIKE TO SHARE IT WITH YOU.
