Imagine: There are two musicians, who know each other from soundcloud. One day they decide, to meet, to drink a cup of coffee and to speak about god and the world. What happenes? They drink the coffee, they speak about god and the world, and after 5 minutes they speak about music, forget god and the world, and the coffee becomes cold.

So we .  We

met one day in cologne, and after some minutes there was only the music, we talked about. And after some minutes more, the decision: We make music together.

This was the start for Music Project Cologne.

We meet, drink a cup of coffee, eat at a Chinese restaurant, and then start to produce. After some hours, there is a new song. We produce from chill to house, from techno to trance, and, if someone would ask us, we also would produce a german folk song.

By the way: If we don´t eat at the Chinese restaurant, we also produce a song, but with Chinese it sounds better. Serious. - May be, we change our name in “chinese restaurant project” some day!  Joke.   

We use mainly Ableton (also Cubase 7), as midi controller an AKAI MP 49. The sounds come from diverse libraries and VST plug ins.  Additional sounds come from KORG OASYS, YAMAHA MOTIF ES, Tyros 2 and Roland Juno G.  

Music for us is life, fun.  And our songs are an invitation to you, also to have fun. Enjoy our music and: Live!
