Born to a Puerto Rican mother, and Dominican father S Dot Flo is a product of the late 80s; a notorious era in New York which is the backdrop for his perspective and insightful approach to content building in his lyrics.  Vivid memories of both physical and mental abuse by his father imparted on his mom resonate through his psyche; that aside, S Dot Flo prides himself of empowerment and realistic divulge as both an MC and contributor in other ways to the culture of Hip Hop and the landscape today.
