A few abrasions from escaping, time to learn the basics
Ain't no saviors for the hated waking late and faded

I ain't seen the day yet
Weighing options on my conscious I was contemplating, only got one shot to make it
Stressing, veins are tight
Just wanna breath
I'm chasing light that I can't see but I believe
I think I feel the warmth above me, hope my aim is right
Can't blame these others round me dormant when it's always night

Beneath these innovations
Don't take no favors, roots are thin and nutrients ain't really rich inside this situation
Uncertainty is nature
This dirt defines your status
Maybe if I make it through the cracks it wont be dim and shaded
Hope I'm not the product of the process of elimination
Consciousness only exists for questioning creation

Anxiety was often
I'd been absorbing toxins
Maybe the rocks will block him, trapped in these thoughts of rotting
Sounds are lost in the dark when you fighting with your conscious
You got to scream to be heard when there ain't no point in talking
Wake up, hold my breath while I stretch and I break some ground above me
Got no time for depression, I'm pressing up from under
I can feel vibrations from thunderstorms, summer must be coming
Still pretty far from the surface but damn it's all I wanted

This crawling up ain't easy
Been feeling hot, I'm reaching
I'll be complete if I make it to fall to fall to pieces
Won't pretend that the winter won't be the end of me and mentally I'm spent, I'm not meant to live to infinity
And if I'm gone before autumn at least I felt the breeze
I'm doing well, I think
Perspectives everything
Build from what's left of me
At least my head is free
Still feel like yesterday maybe I'll have to let it be
Pray to the universe hoping that no one step on me, I just wanted stability when there was no one next to me
I'm just a guest on this earth I don't know my destiny
Can finally grow but I'll never forget the rest of me
