Jaws That Bite is an electronic producer and instrumentalist who has defined a niche in the Detroit music scene.

The sound of Jaws That Bite is wholly original, incorporating live instrumentation, various effects pedals, and a mixture of digital and analog equipment pushed to CPU-frying capacity.

"Limba" is the lead single from Jaws' forthcoming album Glacial Medicine. Glacial Medicine is an expansive collection of new music from Jaws That Bite. Composed over the last three years, and honed live on stage, the album aims to encapsulate the various dimensions of Jaws’ immersive sound.

Lipphead is a production duo consisting of producers Blockhead and Eliot Lipp. Together they create playful instrumental hip hop creations that traverse wide musical territories.

Releasing via Michigan label Young Heavy Souls, the duo has crafted a truly individual sonic aesthetic that benefits from the significant wealth of musical talent and experience they both bring to the project.

Illustrated by artist Maddie Chaffer, the titular Lipphead character serves as the group’s mascot and as a tongue-in-cheek personification of the duo’s fused styles.

"On "The Squirrel from Ipanema", there was a subtle Astrud Gilberto vibe, so we leaned into that. Eliot took what was a fairly organic, sample-based mid-tempo track and spun it into a dope synthy electronic type thing. That process is really what this whole album is."
