 Don't Matter is an electronic club album featuring five original tracks, each paired with a chapter in the accompanying print zine of the same name. Every chapter corresponds to a track, accessible via QR codes linked to a streaming platform. 

Through a fusion of music, poetry, visual art and interview, the zine explores metaphysical and sociopolitical dimensions of ‘nothingness’. Don't Matter interrogates the biases embedded in language and perception, including colonial constructs like Terra Nullius to scientific descriptions of cosmic voids.

Kamoun has developed a signature sound where percussive intensity meets atmospheric depth, blending polyrhythmic drums with modern electronic textures. His fascination for traditional tribal percussion, paired with influences from minimalist field recordings and British bass culture, generates a hypnotic energy that resonates with the raw power of contemporary electronic music.

On 'Wave Prophecy', his first 12" on Dance Data, Kamoun showcases his distinct range - from deep tribal grooves to high-energy dance tracks, Kamoun fuses rhythmic complexity with avant-garde sensibility, forming a unique and addictive sonic palette.

As If the full 5 tracks weren't already enough of a treat, we've also got a fresh remix from our friend Sepehr, who takes La Panthère to a tantalizing place with his 'pantheress' rendition.

Chilean based producer Diego Oroquieta returns to Soma for his 2nd full release with the 'Aquadance' EP. Armed with 4 uniquely produced and distinct tracks, Oroquieta moves easily between warping and hypnotic sounds to more tougher and abrasive material.

'I Finished My Homework' is a relentless, drum heavy opener that leans on a hard hitting and continuous rhythm as title track 'Aquadance' takes a deeper, hypnotic route with pulsating, warping synths creating a dark tension throughout. 'La Serpiente Perdio Su Rumbo' once again brings Oroquieta’s tougher sound, as pounding drums back looped out synths before 'Amazing Dance' closes out the release with distorted and unyielding power.

Rain falls here in Brooklyn as time marches on and the changing of seasons creeps ever so closer. The long days of summer wane, fall will soon be upon us. With the shift in seasons, comes a move inside, and for many, a period of recovery from a hectic summer season. Rosario Piscosquito aka Vidění’s forthcoming album ‘Ocean Resonance’ on Ambient Matter marks their second release on the Indefinite Pitch sub-label and the first of this year. 

From cover to cover, Piscosquito expertly guides listeners through a variety of musical realms, maintaining a certain gravitas and crafting a coherent story from beatless to beat, and back again, with each track building on what came before. Refracted Light, our premiere for today sits early in the album but gives a teaser to what lies ahead. Intricate drum patterns and tribalistic bongos scattered throughout lay the foundation for ethereal pads and subtle melodies that continue to unfold for the duration of the track.

Refracted Light and the rest of Vidění’s Ocean Resonance release will be out on September 15th, and we highly recommend checking out the rest of the album.
