now for my usual talky talking -
this song has been in the works for a long time and i'm unbelievably happy with it, i really think this is even better than "tell me" which makes it my best song ever in my eyes... "soul salvage" refers to the title of a specific book of poetry made from fragments of the author's past, "The Immortal Soul Salvage Yard" by Beth May. And obviously "future diary" refers to the 2011 anime of the same name.. 
The concept of this title is that the first half of the song covers my past and my feelings on it, and the second half covers my potential future, trying to make sense of the world, trying not to fall back into my old ways that have caused me plenty of trouble time and time again throughout my life... wish me luck <3
