There's not really much else to say about this one. The names dropped in the title alone lets your ears know what they're in store for.

Detroit's Burden brothers, more commonly known as Octave One, have been making classic techno from their roots since 1990 – and, much to our pleasure, have continued to produce, DJ and play sensational live sets as though no time has passed. 25 years on, their music still fuels the dancefloors of 2nd gen. techno lovers, as well as being picked up and reworked by modern dance music's most valuable players –  of which Paul Woolford is most certainly one.

When asked about his "Lose Myself" rework, Paul shared that Octave One and their 430 West label "have been inspirations to me for so many years. We met through mutual friends and immediately connected, following various gigs together globally. It was an honour to be invited to work on something for the Detroit label. My intention was to bring out the soulful edge of Octave One's sound and place it within the framework of a track that would work towards the end of the night." 'Turbine' is the final single from Misanthrop’s ‘ANALOG’ LP on his label Neosignal. It presents the mechanical sounds made by a mode of transport. The record was written whilst he was on an airplane, leading to its inspiration and the moogy sounds and chord progressions carry its audience to their destinations.

Jasper and I played around with this tune a few years ago whilst in a hotel room in Ibiza, bouncing samples to and from our laptops, subconsciously trying to capture the Balearic house sound that I fell in love with when I was a kid and the disco sampling house that Jasper’s Dad Harri was playing around the same time… We finally managed to get a version together and wanted to share it as free download - For Ya! ‘Use Me Again’ is Tom Trago’s evergreen club classic. Originally released at the start of 2010 it became a staple track in many DJs sets.

The track is based around an infectious loop in true disco spirit and it lights up every dancefloor its been played to. The original version has been yet again re- mastered for this 2012 release.

Carl Craig has been one of the track’s biggest fans ever since it was first re- leased, at a certain point he was playing it out in almost every set. For this release he came up with a typical c2 re-tweak.
