Born December 17th, 1982 at Kings County Hospital in Seattle, WA.

Raised in a church setting mother was singer and Minister in church. As a child would sit and beatbox with cousins, later on peers at school all the way to present. Listened to funk/soul/RnB/Gospel pretty much everything he could get his hands on. At 15, he was introduced to production from a long time friend B. Delgado. Starting out with the program Acid Pro.

At age 17 transferred to Studio 4 HSRA where he learned more skill sto sharpen his craft. Dookee is profiecient in the MPC2000,Acid Pro/Cubase, Reason, and various keyboard workstations.

Production influences include Dr Dre/Timbaland/Alchemist/Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis/Swizz Beatz/Needlz/BiG Toomp/Dj Premier/Havoc of Mobb Deep/RZA/Babyface/Eminem

"Music to me is everything I breath I can hear it all around me I could beatbox to rain tapping on the window, or a blinker of a car, to dump truck backing up. I'm constantly thinking of a song or rapping a song I constantly play music in the crib, or making beats. I do this for the Love of the art, plus its the only thing I'm really good at."

J-Money was born to Elaine Webb on March 21, 1990 in North Carolina, before residing in Plainfield, NJ. He was always interested in the music game and he would practice, just about every day, trying to master his skills. J Money grew up listening to his favor artists, such as Drake, Lil Wayne and Jay-Z. He would go even deeper into the archives, by playing Notorious Big, Nas and even LL Cool J. He was looking for that different sound, which would make him unique. He felt that now days, everyone sounds the same. 
 Football was always his first love, but the creative outlet that music allowed; it was more fulfilling than the satisfaction of playing sports. J-Money was performing at talent shows since he was sixteen years old. The positive feedback he received, kept him motivated to continue pursuing a career in music. J-Money believes that his fans will see the realness and passion of his material.
 His manager felt that it was time to explore the music world, so they headed to New York, the heart of everything. There J Money began to advance his career by networking and meeting other artists, collaborating on various tracks. He started performing at a venue called “Just Grab Da Mic” industry showcase. There he met an artist named Candeya Rawdiamondz, who started this event, with her associates. She had record labels, booking agents as well as lawyers on the panel of judges. There J money met a man named Baritone, whom helped him along the way. Baritone worked for Def Jam Records and developed his own company called BuzzThis.net. Later on down the line, he taught artist development and showed him, what it takes to become a successful artist. He was given various showcases events throughout the Tri-State area. Now under the direct path of Candeya, he has developed into an artist and has learned the ins and outs of the game. His goal is to bring the old with the new and with that said, never give up your dreams
