Welcome to this audio introduction to Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller at the Young Vic, directed by Marianne Elliot and Miranda Cromwell.

The audio described performance is on Tuesday the 11th of June at 7.30pm. The touch tour will be at 6pm To book your place, please call the Young Vic box office on 020 7922 2922. We’ll repeat this introduction in the auditorium at 7.15pm. 

The story is set in the late 1940’s with the action taking place in the Loman’s home and yard in Brooklyn, NYC. 

The production lasts for approximately 3 hours including an interval.

Director of stage and film Nadia Latif chats to Off Book presenter Dan de la Motte about growing up between Sudan and London, her early experiences of London theatre, drama school, and why what’s on your bookshelf is so important.

Nadia also discusses working with Jackie Sibblies Drury and her experiences of directing the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Fairview at the Young Vic.

Nadia Latif was the 2018-2020 Young Vic Genesis Fellow and Associate Director, a position which supports someone to develop their craft as a theatre director whilst working closely with the Young Vic’s Artistic Director. Opportunities whilst in post include supporting the theatre’s programming and artistic planning, contributing to the work of the Young Vic’s Directors Program and mentoring Genesis Future Directors Award recipients.
