Sorry, meant to comment here. We are to follow CHRIST only! Remember Paul's argument about the folks saying "I follow Apollos. I follow Paul." Then he asks did Apollos die for you? Did Paul die for you? (paraphrased)

I did! Don't say I have no common sense! I was horribly misled by Christian born-again parents who claimed God said they should abuse me!

Apparent to all? Are you serious? I know you know abusers. They HIDE their abuse.

I was just asked to listen to a pastor who is clearly abusive- this was yesterday. What a timely  message this is. Thank you.

“Can you give some clear examples of signs of how a pastor or church leader is crossing the line from being a shepherd to a spiritual abuser? It would be helpful to know when to support a pastor when he is genuinely trying to defend and protect his flock from outside and wrong influence vs. a pastor who has an agenda and is above questioning or accountability.
