I’m excited to present this recording of a mix that approximates my performance at the Subterráneo party  a few weeks earlier at the CLAW LA with the Payasos and NYC Inferno. 

My recording gear went kaputt during the show so I re-recorded the vibe this week. I was wondering if I should re-record and edit it because I am highly critical but I think I’d rather present a more raw exhibition.

Just know that the 8000 sq ft dark room was a buzz all night with sexy techno, dancehall, and a lil cumbia and reggaeton with an industrial bent thrown in too.

However I am a perfectionist and easily bored so I included the major moments of that set, and threw in some bonuses for my SoundCloud listeners to receive a brand new experience.

O what a fun time I had clowning around the eagle for this gig. 

Prepare yourself for a few cheeky edits and house moments that lead into harder more industrial flavored and drum forward rhythms. Does it get trance-y and IDM-y in the middle there?? 

This set was devised as a love letter to my go-go boys and theys of the night and  they delivered wholeheartedly.

Jungle @ Eagle LA - 3-8-24

So excited to be able to share this mix from Green Machines Thursday party @ Smartbar. This mix was textured, proggy, and froggy 🐸🐸🐸.

In my own typical fashion, this gives a harsh softness that while riotous at the club, was fun for a casual listen. In my revisit of this, I loved a deep, close listen for all the samples and easter eggs I experimented with during this set. I just can't help myself but take a few risks during the set, sometimes they even pay off 🤩😜

Happy all saints' day 

Here's the 2nd half of my set at the Halloween edition of Funkstick. 

In harmony with the season, it's a set that meets the expectation of Funkstick as a cruisy, queer disco party, but also tries to subvert it with the addition of ebm, new beat, industrial selections and just chaotic hi-nrg, electro, and sappy goth synth-pop.

This was also my first big pure vinyl set out and I think I perfectly understand why vinyl is the preferred medium to mix in. I felt empowered, in control, and spiritualized completely.
