Hailing from the Bay Area, San Francisco-based producer The Schmidt is a veteran in the game and still going strong. Known for his high-energy DJ sets and signature Tech House productions, The Schmidt is gaining strong support from fans and earning recognition from key figures in the scene. His sound blends the driving rhythms of Tech House with influences from Classic House, Tech-funk, and UK Tech, resulting in a style that’s both dynamic and distinctive. He’s performed at major festivals like SXSW, SnowGlobe, Northern Nights, and How Weird Festival, as well as some of the most iconic venues across the U.S.

With recent releases on respected labels such as TOOLROOM, Box of Cats, This Ain't Bristol, Darklight, Terminal Underground, Strangelove, Country Club Disco, Quincy Boy, and more, The Schmidt is poised for a breakout year in 2026.
