Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore VII, the Dog ending, details a strange ending in which Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne, Mettaton, and Asgore were killed, but everyone else was left alone. Now a little white dog rules the Underground by doing little more than sleeping on the throne all day. Somehow, this is working out...really, really well for everyone? NOTHING IS OUT OF PLACE. DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. EVERYTHING IS FINE. =)

Asriel actually gets to keep his role! He may not have the 6 human SOULs, but he has the SOULs of the entire Underground and the power of dog, so he can't lose. He'll finally exact the revenge he's always wanted.

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore V, the King Mettaton ending, details an ending in which Asgore, Toriel, and Undyne are all slain, leaving Mettaton next in line for the throne. He's turned the Underground into an aesthetic corporate dystopian paradise. Humans are to be invited to join his Fan Club. And if they reject it, they die.

Mettaton, as stated, takes the role of Asgore. Nex hasn't exactly joined his fan club, but he's not upset. Far from it. This is the kind of dramatic tension he lives for! He'll simultaneously root for Nex's destruction and for his success...anything for the drama to continue. But how well will that hold up when Mettaton has to face Nex himself?

What's a consistent upload schedule? 
I hope all of you have been staying safe over the summer with the pandemic and all. I was in a severe burnout overthinking about how my music should sound trying to keep up the High standards I put into this account, continually in a state of doubt of my skills as a musician, but I think this cured it. I hope you enjoy this piece and I'm sorry for being gone for so long.
