Founded by Mikael Johnston, the act shattered boundaries with Warner Bros. releases, co-writing/producing "Crash" feat. Wayne Static (Static-X)—a nu-metal/electronic anthem on Batman Beyond; Return of the Joker soundtrack and MTV rotation.
As forebears of what Static-X created and call  "evil disco," Mephisto Odyssey's techno-metal - rock hybrids prefigured the dystopian rage of modern industrial electronica torchbearers like 3TEETH and Youth Code. Revived in 2025 with "Crash Reborn"—pounding EBM beats, detuned guitars by Brad Gillis, and Wayne Static's posthumous fury—leading the charge into unrelenting mechanical aggression for a new era.

Made in Russia, shipped to the US. I like to vent in my lyrics and my therapist approves it. I guess I want to try a lot of different things, so occasionally I experiment in fruity loops, or randomly get inspired listening to lo-fi beats.
