Following hot on the heels of his ‘Feelin This EP’ on DFTD in 2013, up-and-coming German producer Aaaron is back and ready for more. His new, three track, ‘What Makes You Itch EP’ sustains the high level production seen in his last work and exhibits the Berlin DJ’s percussive versatility and commitment to rhythm. The title track begins with a chest-thumping tom and kick riff, slowly transforming into a medley of cowbells and evolving synth lines, all of which gets the party started. ‘Cray’ kicks off with pitch shifting cowbells panning back and forth, mixes a catchy vocal sample with an array of percussive snaps and rattles, plus a punchy bass synth. Perhaps the percussive pinnacle of the EP, ‘No Excuse’ feels like a late night drum circle meets fat analogue. Perfect for keeping the night alive, ‘What Makes You Itch EP’ is here to solidify Aaaron’s reputation as one of Berlin’s most important underground hit makers.

Rising UK stars Eli & Fur, aka Eliza Noble and Jennifer Skillman, return to Anjunadeep with their new ‘California Love EP’, after last years much loved debut ‘Feel The Fire’.

In the year since its release, Eli & Fur have marked themselves out as one of the brightest talents in the house scene. Title track ‘California Love’ is the first of three killer club cuts, fusing brooding low-end with spacey atmospherics whilst their own haunting vocals add a dystopian touch.

‘I Stole A Car’ is a slice of peak-time tech house, with bubbling bass stabs surging 
beneath twisted vocals and crisp shuffling percussion. Showcasing their lyrical talents, ‘Over Again’ combines more moody dancefloor vibes with a huge soaring breakdown, rounding off a bold and distinctive EP.

2015 kept @Ambassadeurs extremely busy with a slew of EPs and his debut album – “Patterns” released on Lost Tribe Records. 

Now back in the studio recording his second album, Mark is dropping this EP in the interim to keep the fans sweet. He wrote these tracks during an escape in the autumn from the city to the countryside. The change of scenery from concrete to wilderness is reflected in the more organic sounds on this 4 tracker, which was written with the bare minimum of equipment to hand, even sampling some old cassettes that were left behind in the cottage where he was staying. 

so while a simpler and more stripped back approach was adopted on this EP, it’s still distinctively his sound neatly executed to see a great year out.

Cadenza Music opens up its 2016 account with the debut single from Swiss producers, Rare Movement feat. Disco Channel.

Cutting their teeth on the DJ circuit for many years, and playing alongside such esteemed jocks as Seth Troxler, Ricardo Villalobos (who mastered the audio on these tracks), Jamie Jones and Luciano (who ultimately signed this single to Cadenza), the guys have crafted a pair of tracks that sit right in the DJ sets of the aforementioned company.

‘Rare 007’ combines tension building synths and a wandering bassline, wrapped up tight in solid drum groove, its hypnotizing tones carving out a most useful club tool.  On the flip side, ‘Rare 011’ digs deeper, with cinematic string sweeps over the sparse and bass heavy kick drum.  Flashes of vocal refrains and micro percussion fly in and out of the arrangement as the melodic elements give this one a real sense of drama as the track blossoms into life.  A very accomplished debut from the guys will no doubt provide a real ‘dancefloor moment’ in the right setting.
