Instore Session w/ Cesare VS Disorder

The demure appearance of Romanian artist Praslea belies his deep involvement in the music industry. With his name appearing on top events, especially in his home town of Bucharest, circa 2007, Florin Cunțan is a certified don of our scene. Having been inducted into the [a:pia:r] clique from an early age his “Jurnal De Bord” EP way back in 2009 he has hardly been prolific, but this is not where his real talent lies. With his solo credentials above reproach, it is par for the course for Praslea and his peers to perform together even at the biggest of events. So, it is hardly surprising that two artists from this family should join forces on the regular and that partnership is Praslesh. This is a live recording of my set at "RHADOO / Beat In Me", held at Vent in Tokyo on 29th November. It’s the opening set on the main floor from 23:00 to 1:00, before Rhadoo’s performance. Please have a listen when you have some time.

• No mastering has been applied.
• The recorder was slightly malfunctioning, and I couldn't properly adjust the input levels during recording. As a result, some tracks have distorted kicks. Thank you for your understanding.

We are very happy to present Danube Podcast 021 with Foehn & Jerome!

Foehn & Jerome are an Austrian duo who have been based in Berlin for over a decade. Their collaboration began in 2011 when they moved in together and launched the “Cafe Sturz” series at Vienna’s Grelle Forelle, where they hosted artists such as Zip, Sammy Dee and Vera.
After relocating to Berlin, they became residents at Club der Visionaere and in 2018 founded their ongoing event series Perfumed Freedom. Over the years, these gatherings have built a strong community and welcomed artists from across the globe. Today, the series has established itself as one of the key events at Club der Visionaere—a place to connect through great music and great people.

In recent years, Foehn & Jerome have shaped a sound that is both dynamic and immersive. Their music moves between warm, groove-driven rhythms and more stripped-back, experimental elements, always unfolding with a sense of flow that keeps the dance floor engaged. Their latest EP, Macho Madness featuring Sonya Zlo, pushes this evolution even further—with raw, genre-bending tracks born from a spontaneous studio jam. Much like their long-standing sets at Club der Visionaere, these productions reflect the atmosphere of their gatherings: detailed, unhurried and rooted in the connection between music and people.

Sammy Dee needs very little introduction, his 20+ years involvement with Perlon and Get Perlonized events are evidence to his legacy who is an example as such that we have as role model. 

One thing I can talk about extensively however is him as a Dj. Sammy possesses an extremely wide taste in music and a record collection that follows that,  crossing over many genres of music. His ability to adapt to day or night sets, early or late slots and so on  is incredibly precise, as seen here at Sunwaves Festival last May. He was handing over to Dragos Ilici who crossed over to Binh. Please note that this set has intro / middle and ending, a feature that should be standard to us all but surprisingly it is not, hence my emphasis on it, it is a beautiful progression and killer structure. 

Sammy was one of my first bookings for the Toi.Toi.Parties and has been a close friend ever since.  I lost my shit during this set at Sunwaves with him and when finding out it was recorded I pestered him to allow me to release it as it has been on 'repeat' ever since. 

My due respect and thankfulness to this amazing soul and artist I truly admire.

Guesthouse is turning 8 years old, so we thought that as a thank you for all your support we would offer this as a little present in preparation for this weekend’s party and in turn for leaving you with the start of a musical legacy we intend to create through this podcast series.

It is such a great pleasure to present you with the first Guesthouse Podcast along with other aspects which we will be bringing out this week such as our brand new website and blog.

To start things off, we have who is, one of the most understated and respected artists in our scene, Rhadoo, to provide us with a recording of his fabric set when the club turned 19 years old last October. A lot could be written and said about this artist who is so outstanding, unique and historically relevant to minimalism, however, in order to be in line with his identity and his understatement we will let the music speak for itself. 

We would like to thank fabric for granting us this recording and wish them a great night this Saturday as they have their annual RPR Soundsystem gathering. 

Back here in Bucharest, we will be celebrating with a stellar line up including Charlie, Christopher Ledger, Inner, Junki Inoue, Kozo, Praslea and Vera.
