Max Dcibel aka Maxupiciu has been immersed in music since he was very young. 
He was lucky enough to be surrounded by people passionate about music and was influenced by experimentation and introspection by mixing and producing music a few years ago. At 18, he created his first agency in France, Dcibel Off, and in 2017, he set up Reverse in Barcelona, ​​hosting numerous underground parties throughout the city. He also joined La Aso in 2021 to establish the agency in Barcelona.

He finally resumed his own projects in 2023, focusing entirely on Reverse and creating a second agency called Magazine World.
Focused on house, techno, and minimal music, he also draws inspiration from various musical styles.

Max Dcibel aka Maxupiciu baigne dans la musique depuis son plus jeune âge, il a eu la chance d’être entouré de gens passionnés par la musique et  s'est laissé influencer par l'expérimentation et l'introspection en mixant et en produisant de la musique il y a quelques années. A 18 ans, il crée sa première agence en France Dcibel Off puis en 2017 il monte Reverse à Barcelone avec de nombreuse soirées underground dans la ville. Actively playing across Europe over the last few years, Pierre’s sound is characterised by his blend of house, breakbeat and jazz, a combination that has come together from a youth surrounded by music and thoughtfulness. Classically trained in guitar, his musical ear turned to electronic music in his late teens after being swept up in the euphoria of the late 2010’s French party scene. 

As an artist, Pierre’s career really took off from the release of his playful and dancefloor oriented EP ‘Sweet Dance’, on the Instant Match record label. In 2024, the progression naturally matured, resulting in Pierre’s functional yet introspective ‘Lunchbreak in Mitte’ EP released on Tunnel Musiq.

Pierre had a landmark tour in Australia in 2024, performing festival shows, club nights and afterhours slots for The Breakfast Club, Ikigai and The Late Show. Playing not one, but two distinct live sets, back-to-back, at Melbourne's famous ‘Breakfast Club’, Pierre’s versatility as an artist is one of his greatest assets. 

After playing standout shows at CDV, Hoppetosse, Le Chant des Oiseaux and LuckIsOn, Pierre moved back to his home in the south of France to focus on producing. Now, with many projects on the horizon, he is ready to unleash a brand new live set which composes two forthcoming EPs and his first full length album set for release in 2026.
