I wrote "Skyscrapers" on one of my long trips to a far away country. It is a love song. It is about missing someone very much even if you don't always get along and agree on things.  In moments like that you just want to run away .. as fast as you can .. only to feel like you want to come back 5 minutes later..

Of all the Berlin DJs who make a living spinning strange, I'm-not-sharing-the-tracklist kind of records, Sugar Free, originally hailing from Madrid, might be the most fun. She plays bold, colourful tracks with an air of sci-fi and sleaze, somewhere between Italo, hi-NRG, electro and house. (Her Dimensions Mix last year was one of our favourites of 2023.) She's the kind of DJ who messes with your perception of genres and tempos by how she blends tracks together, and also a DJ with a rare grasp of mixing melodies and moods—just check out the first transition of this RA Podcast for a spine-tingling example.

Sugar Free doesn't speak much publicly, and you won't find a lot about her on the internet. She prefers to let her DJing speak for itself. And her RA Podcast says a lot: proggy basslines, heart-in-mouth descents into reverb-heavy breakdowns, eerie vocals and a general feel of psychedelia and '80s decadence. It's difficult to tell what era these records are from, which is part of the charm. For a bonus point, try and pick out two just-completed Sugar Free originals, some of her first productions ever after her debut track came out on Limousine Dream in 2022.

This time again Bosconi likes to show you its eclectic taste in dance music delivering for its fourth release, a proper techno EP made by one of the most talented techno British duos: 100Hz! Lee Renacre & James Chapman have released in the past years some real underground techno and funk house gems like the "Janis", "Waterfalls" and "Trust Love" under the same moniker for their own imprint Format records. 
We are pretty sure that this brilliant three tracker will appeal to all the supporters of good minimal Detroit techno à la Robert Hood and dubstep / techno crossover lovers. In fact the A side moves into the first direction, soulful techno at his best enriched by the speech of the mysterious singer called "The Voice". “The Field” and “Tension” are, at the same time, great pieces of musical composition and functional DJ tools that are able to create a very original moment on the dancefloor with their suspense, dreamy and trippy atmospheres, smooth and sexy deep techno tracks with an intense and breathtaking groove. “Cinqo” instead is a kind of bet for us, taken from Format 03 Sunshine State EP 1995, the track is a 137bpm smasher that can fit perfectly all types of experimental and avantgardist techno DJ sets.

Italian dj based in Paris, Benedetta (@benedettadj) spent her last 10 years djing, party curating, organizing, label managing, and lately, live performing. For the live act, she sings her own lyrics and poems with her drum machine and bass synthesizer. She spends all of her time digging vinyl and for her vinyl-only sets she always brings her fav records : dark electro, deep techno, hard groove and acid.Lately she performed in Berlin, Tbilisi, Paris, Lyon, Fusion festival, several gigs in Italy, organized party with her side project Glittoris (a girl duo) at the iconic Rex Club or in more underground squats. Lately she did an instore session for the legendary Yoyaku.

Honing his skills since the 90’s, Francesco Del Garda has built a strong reputation throughout Europe for his signature blends of groovy house, oddball techno, UK garage and electro. Alongside running @timelessseries, Del Garda has notched up appearances in seminal venues around the world, as well as iconic b2b’s with the likes of Binh, Nicolas Lutz and Onur Özer.

We can’t wait to welcome the wizard this year to the Fort, where he joins the Butter Side Up crew’s takeover of the Void, their boat party alongside Binh, alongside partying with some of the usual suspects: Lutz, Zip, Omar, The Ghost and Jane Fitz who'll also be appearing across the weekend.
