Labelled by @resident-advisor as "one of the classiest and grooviest house DJs out there," @danaruh is a musician who lives and breathes music like few others. Thoroughly obsessed by the complexities of sound, she's as renowned for his wizardry behind the decks as she is her label, @brouqade -as well as her role at fledgling Berlin music space, 60waves store. A native of Gera, Ruh has been firmly settled in Berlin for over a decade now, with Germany's capital continuing to play a profound effect on her unique way of working. An impressively multifaceted musician, Ruh's early sound was often characterised by its subtle, minimal tropes, although these days she's equally as likely to champion classy, up-tempo house as she is a tougher, more peak-time techno vibe. It's a way of working that means she's equally comfortable throwing it down in Romania as she Ibiza or at her summer residency at Berlin's Club der visionaere. A master of the subtle groove, Ruh's work continues to draw praise from electronic music's most respected names, with her highly-regarded debut LP, Naturally, released via @jus-ed @undergroundquality. Added to this, further celebrated releases have arrived recently via equally discerning outposts such as @barbara-preisinger, Cave Records and @autoreply. Closer to home, Ruh continues to rep her Brougade imprint with distinction. Conceived in 2007, the label is now firmly established one that's equally likely to push forward-thinking up-and-coming artists and established names alike. As one of the founder of @kma60 he established 60waves, an independent record store in berlin, releasing her latest album 2020 on Cave Recordings Dana is never sitting still. after her Release on @smallville-records in 2023 and back on Brougade and with a live set to perform She will not stop to create.

Discult Soundsystem is an encounter between Tristan and Alexis, an adventure that initiates in France to then migrate to Berlin in 2016.
They created Lets Discult, a project first focused on live streams, open air parties, and then evolved to a record label with 2 vinyl releases out there. 
The duo regularly plays in Berlin and abroad, distinguished by their good mood and wild atmosphere. Here a taste from their DJ Set at Wintergarten, Sysyphos!

If you’ve been in or around Berlin’s house and techno scene over the past few years, chances are Alessia Ceruti is a name you’re familiar with. Born in Italy, she now lives in Berlin (from where she runs the much-acclaimed 60waves record store alongside Brouqade boss Dana Ruh), and also works as a DJ and a label owner. 

The latest artist to step up for our podcast series, Ceruti is also a wicked DJ, and someone who naturally keeps her ear to the ground for brilliant sounds. Following an intense year where she was hospitalised during the summer, she’s now back at it and feeling more invigorated than ever. We caught up with her recently to discuss her journey in music, how her illness gave her a new lease of life and much more besides…

A pillar of the Danish underground, Markovela has crafted an enviable position in a scene that only comes with having countless locked-in dancefloor moments under his belt. Moving the Scandinavian scene on a glacial level, few have had the level of input into the musical landscape than this next level digger. Cherishing his domestic scene as if an extension of his own flesh and blood, Markovela pours love and affection on the dancefloor with each passing transition and the connection that is established could not be more heartfelt. 

Throughout the full run time of this mix the thread of emotion could not be more cohesive. From slick, stripped back grooves courtesy of Audio Werner to uplifting gems that will rarely see the light of day outside his own record bag. Segueing from mood to mood with an ease that is difficult to comprehend at times, but that is not for you to worry about. Leave that Markovela.

Co-founder of the respected Zaza Island events, Roni Amitai has grown as an artist almost as quickly as her rapidly expanding record collection. Together with Hilu, they have grown their event series to an enviable level that has meant they are able to invite top artists such as Sammy Dee, Cristi Cons and the Half Baked crew, Anthea, Francesco Del Garda, and Traumer. The list goes on and on, and it will continue to rise and rise. 

Having been looking to bring Roni to the fold for some time now, we are happy to present her mix for your listening pleasure. Clocking in at just under 2 hours long, Roni is able to begin her trip with a smooth selection of 90’s dreamy house jams before peppering more underground sounds around the decks. Like the guests she welcomes on a regular basis Roni quickly moves through the gears and even drops back a few in order to take off in a different direction. This mix is definitely one for the diggers with an ear for 90’s house and techno, you won't be disappointed.
