Kr!z has been at the forefront of techno for more than a decade. After making a name for himself as a skilled DJ with sharp focus and a quick mixing style Kr!z launched Token Records in 2007. It has since been a leading outlet for heady, purist sounds: always straightforward, sometimes weird, often catchy. 

Kr!z takes listeners on journeys surpassing space and time. Led by deeply hypnotic grooves,  syncopated rhythms and widely reverberating atmospheres, his desire to guide the dancefloor into unknown depths can be felt with every note. Intensities build up and collapse under his skillful hands, knowing what each knob twist will result in. Each set feels almost like a mathematical calculation, deciphering the code of collective ecstasy.

There is a big black heart in Barcelona that it is still beating. Three weeks later, we’re still digesting the magic that was the fourth edition of Mostra festival. From the most intimate listening moments to collective catharsis on the dancefloor, this year was something else.

Starting from the end this year, we’re proud to present the recorded closing set from Mostra's resident ABSIS, who delivered a deeply emotional finale that distilled everything Mostra stands for: a blend of force, finesse, energy and passion — all woven into one.

Across four editions, countless moments, different days and stages, ABSIS has always been there: reading the different dance floors, adapting, connecting the dots between sound and feelings. Being a resident is more than just playing; it’s embodying the festival’s pulse, giving it identity and continuity, and raising the collective experience to another level.

If you’ve journeyed with Mostra through the years, you know how central ABSIS (alongside Timnah and Patrick Russell) has been to shaping that Mostra spirit. If you haven’t yet, you may find the chance next year.

And now, for the first time: ABSIS closing the festival. A powerful tribute to what it means to support the local scene, not just by listing names from the city, but by creating moments like this one that matters.

Our May podcast comes courtesy of STNDRD, with the Barcelona-based producer and DJ delivering a gritty 1-hour session combining intense drum workouts and heavy synth leads.

With a steady output of releases starting in 2018 for several reference labels (Subsist, Dynamic Reflection, Children Of Tomorrow...), STNDRD has since become an active member of the Bahn crew in Barcelona and is also behind the Audio Magnitude project, a label and podcast series showcasing his most valued techno producers from around the world.

Few artists can match the influence that Enrique Mena, AKA Svreca, and his label Semantica have had on contemporary techno. With over 20 years in the DJ booth, 200-plus releases on the label and some acclaimed original productions and remixes, Svreca has spearheaded techno’s second generation, helping maintain Madrid as an international hub for deep and driving sounds. 

As a DJ, Svreca draws from a wide sonic palette that includes noise, dub, avant-garde electronics, electro and, of course, techno. First, it was luminaries like Angel Molina and Oscar Mulero that inspired him; since then he has made it his mission to survey the scene and connect with its most original artists. He funnels these influences into a powerful techno sound for body and mind: immersive, textural and rhythmically complex. Whether in an open-air festival setting or a blistering, pitch-back basement, Svreca’s sets—always delivered with technical precision—are a psychedelic, physical experience. 

His sets are also inextricably linked to Semantica. It’s a two way relationship: the label has become a consistently excellent breeding ground for new talent, as well as home to some of techno’s finest artists. Equally, Svreca draws inspiration from shared moments on a dance floor to fuel the label’s creative direction. From its austere aesthetic (designed by Mena himself) to its boundless exploration of new formats, Semantica encapsulates the heady spirit of experimental techno. 

Across all Svreca's means of expression, one thing is a constant: the music comes first. Less talking, more doing. It’s a formula he has stood by, and delivered the quality of music needed to back it up.

Bio:
David Reina, born in Córdoba, in southern Spain. His musical career began in the mid90’s after having been involved in Hip Hop for a few years. In 1997 he began to getinvolved in Electronic music and more specifically in Techno, feeling more attracted tothe underground scene. After a decade playing around Spain and the United States,and having shared the stage with international artists in numerous venues and events,he decided to study music production and sound engineering.Releasing his music in the years that followed on labels such as: Axis, Warm Up, Subsist,Main Concept, Rhod, Gynoid Audio, Induxtriall, DarkForest, Methodical... just to name a
few.In 2018 he started his own record label called Legend 1997 Records focused on Sci-fi,Minimalistic Techno and Cinematic Soundscapes, with twenty releases so far.He released the first album of his career, in 2021, on the legendary Jeff Mills label AxisRecords. A purely conceptual work entitled "Future Technosignature”, twelve Spatialsound themes, Ambient Soundscapes, and clever dance exercises. All this with an eyeon the future of technology to find intelligent life in outer space as the main concept.He signed his second album “Deeping The Multiverse” in 2023. This time in his own
imprint, Legend 1997. Fourteen tracks of Futurist Techno, mixed with textures, bleepsand Electronic Jazz. Also featuring prominent Ambient Soundscapes, this time going darker and deeper along the trip.David makes his debut on the legendary Warm Up Recordings, Oscar Mulero’s record label, with the third album of his career called “Autoscopy” released on January of2024. Twelve Scientific and abstract Techno tracks, with a strong extraterrestrial touch,
carefully prepared paying close attention to detail. For this special occasion he offersits most rhythmic and danceable side except for the first and last song, totally withoutrhythm.

Focusing on a unique and organic way to create safer space, activities, art, performances, music, and community that connect us and embrace us to be more of ourselves.

The Π (P) represents the wire netting fence and the Y represents a body with his hands up escaping the wire netting fence (Prison) of the body, the soul of YPNOTIKA, responsible for unifying different cultures, leaving aside any political oppression, A moment of empathy and harmony between ravers and their souls. 

Our music revolves around a mesmerizing and mysterious groove, which draws inspiration from the art of storytelling. Our aim is to create an immersive experience for our audience, allowing them to connect with their inner selves through hypnotic rhythms while they dance.
