Subliminal is the respected and influential Dance music imprint responsible for bringing cross-over dance hits and underground records to DJs around the world. 

After a short period on ice, the label has returned, stronger than ever and armed with a whole host of new tracks and artists. It’s ready to enter the next chapter of its history through a strategic partnership with label Strictly Rhythm.

Subliminal is famously led by international DJ Erick Morillo, a master of promotion who through his larger than life personality and his passion for dance music has propelled the label ever forward.

Erick is truly unique. As a DJ, producer and chief A&R of his own label. His philosophy is simple; he picks up the records that he knows will cause seismic reactions on his dance floors. “It’s all about signing records that I would play and that would have a big effect on the crowd anywhere in the world”.

„The project „Jimmi Befrik“ started many
 years ago with the movie „Berlin calling“, the clubs „Rheingold Düsseldorf“, the „Butan“ in Wuppertal and many more clubs . But my love for technomusic started many years before that when I was at the age of eight at the Festival „Love Parade“ with my mother. From this moment I knew Techno will rule my life forever. Back to the project, after a few attempts as a DJ at home, I had my first requests to play in clubs. Shortly after that I had my first gig at the Delta Musikpark where I started as an LJ. Consequently I continued producing and made a lot of remixes for other artists. Thereupon, after many performances, I had the chance to fully realize the DJ I wanted to become. I had my first requests for festivals (Ruhr in Love ) and released my first EP. In between I was part of a duo called „Mallow X Dawn“. Through the duo I met my current business partners Musical Taste and Vrancky Unique with whom I have the label VolumeNiceMusic.“
