I’ve come to embrace the fact that perfection doesn’t live in my music—it’s all about sharing it with the world. 

My set at Breakfast Of Champions street block party kicks off with a blend of club beats, breakbeat, acid and electro, then gradually takes you on a wild ride of earth real and psychedelic techno, leading you through a mind-bending journey and a bit of my singing at almost of the end. This set reflected my free spirit.  

This set wasn’t about flawless mixes. It was about the energy, the freedom, and the connection.

Hailing from Taipei, Taiwan, a city with a thriving nightlife that goes until the wee hours of the morning, Yuka grew up with the rise of the electronic music scene in Asia. Yuka cut her teeth as a producer and DJ in London in Camden Town.

While living in London, Yuka effortlessly bridged the underground to the mainstream in a male-dominated industry. She has opened for electronic artists like Cosmic Gate, The Crystal Method, Audien, Valentino Khan, Poolside, and Eric Prydz, and also live bands such as ALO, The California Honeydrops, and Rebirth Brass Band all while playing in premiere venues and nightclubs all over London, East Asia, and North America. Yuka sings and plays the Chinese flute, and DJ’s regularly with live musicians who play the Guzheng (古箏), violin, bass guitar, trumpet, and didgeridoo.

Yuka’s career highlights include: playing on the Insomniac Camp OG stage at EDC Las Vegas, playing at Ministry of Sound (London), and playing at Oil (Shenzhen).
 
In 2019, she founded the artist exchange program Nu Tekno and has been hosting events regularly since 2020.  Nu Tekno currently has monthly residencies at the Endup, Lion’s Den and Mars Bar in San Francisco.
