''A música original: ''Os Escravos de Jó''(Caxangá, Composição: Fernando Brant / Milton Nascimento)faz parte do disco Milagre dos Peixes, mutilado pela censura, que cortou praticamente na íntegra a letra dessa canção e de mais duas. Como Milton Nascimento não podia usar as letras, resolveu fazer as gravações apenas com sua voz, usando seu vasto repertório de modulações para imprimir as emoções que os censores haviam suprimido dos textos. Das três letras proibidas, esta, de Fernando Brant, é sem dúvida a mais contundente. Clementina de Jesus, convidada para participar do disco, só pôde cantar a última estrofe. Alguns anos depois, Elis Regina resgatou a letra proibida e gravou a canção com um novo nome, Caxangá.''

''The original song: ''Os Escravos de Jó'' (Caxangá, Composition: Fernando Brant / Milton Nascimento) is part of the album 'Milagre dos Peixes', mutilated by dictators, who practically cut out the lyrics of this song and two more. Since Milton Nascimento couldn't use the lyrics, he decided to make the recordings only with his voice, using his vast repertoire of modulations to impress the emotions that the censors had suppressed from the texts. Of the three forbidden letters, this one, by Fernando Brant, is undoubtedly the most forceful. Clementina de Jesus, invited to participate in the album, was only able to sing the last verse.
