Jon Gurd & Reset Robot return with new 3-track EP 'It's Over'. The release follows the pair's 2023 'Ashen EP', the title track of which was premiered on flagship label compilation Anjunadeep 14, whilst the EP was supported by tastemakers such as Hernan Cattaneo, Joris Voorn, Adriatique. This also follows two previous studio albums from Jon Gurd on Anjunadeep, 'Lion' and 'Phoenix'.

The new release is comprised of three atmospheric, dark electronica tracks, with swung breakbeats, gated synths and deep basslines, tied together with the pair's consistently crisp production.

‘Universe’ derived its title from the patch name on the Prophet Rev2 that the song was started with. After a few writing sessions, that sound was relegated to the background but the spirit of the sound and its name lived on in the mood and ambience of the song. ‘Universe’ is a laidback garage track built upon modulating synthesizers fighting to stay in tune and vocal chops that have been pitched and stretched beyond recognition – it’s an effortless trip across the universe.
