De l’EBM au hardcore, de l’acid au break industriel, ses métissages musicaux allient rock, rap, métal à de puissants kicks, des mélodies envoûtantes teintées de textures industrielles. Un univers sombre et poétique qui reçoit l’appui de Paula Temple ou Parrish Smith. N'ayant plus aucune preuve à faire côté industrial, Opäk s'aventure désormais sur les territoires d'une techno plus mentale, extrêmement évocatrice, toujours en recherche d'innovation.

Assurément l'un des artistes les plus intéressants de la nouvelle scène électronique française.

Eva Bohnen is a DJ and producer based in Rotterdam, Holland. Eva started her musical journey in 2021 and had her first track release and club performance behind the decks in 2023. Her love for underground techno stems from the rave scene of the 90s and the alternative punk culture where her roots lie. These edgy influences are noticeable in her sound which can be characterized as raw and intense with repetitive synth sequences. Together with Denn Punk she curates MEUK Collective, a Rotterdam based oldschool techno collective and record label. They just kicked off their label with the MEUK EP with Eva’s debut track Rauwe Groef (Raw Groove).

Lenn Reich, a DJ and producer from Ulm, Germany—an iconic city in the techno scene of the 90s and 2000s—entered the nightlife at an early age, captivated by the powerful basslines and energy of the genre. Influenced by a family passionate about old-school techno and car culture, he developed a distinctive style: fast, intense, and energetic.

As a resident at renowned venues such as Gleis44 and Klub Pan, he established his name on the national scene, performing at prominent clubs across Germany. His sound blends hypnotic grooves, powerful kicks, and tribal synthesizers, paying homage to 2000s techno while delivering a fresh and vibrant approach that resonates with the most discerning ravers.

Lenn Reich is a creator of immersive sonic experiences, positioning himself as a key figure in today’s techno scene.

My next guest on Yax Invites is French based artist, Croix.

It has now been 5 years since CROIX had been touched by electronic music during a club techno party. Tight and powerful rhythms were anchored deep in his mind since that day.

Throughout these past few years, he discovered and explored many styles and universes, allowing his true vision of techno to become more and more defined. 

As he progressed playing in pubs and little venues in his hometown, he finally met the expectations to play in clubs such in Bruxelles, Strasbourg, and Nancy. The first club he had the opportunity to play in was the one which mainly crafted his techno imprint : groovy but smooth, hypnotic but frenzy with no hesitation to play his own creations.
