I am not really sure how to describe myself except for I have an extremely eclectic taste in music, and music that I myself like to play.  First and foremost, I would like to that my teacher and mentor the late DJ Crazy D.  Not only was he an amazing teacher and the one of the sickest people I have ever seen behind the decks, but he has also an amazing friend.  He just passed away not but a few days ago, and he will be missed.  I started out at age 19 as a house head, and really got into chicago style vocal house.  The people that influenced my style the most, would be Derrick Carter, Paul Johnson, Gene Farris, Miguel Migs, Mark Farina, and basically anything that had a funky beat, horns, bad a** bass, and a vocal element.  Now that I am a little older (LOL) I have become more interested in playing different styles of music, especially reggae with jump up dnb.  I was mostly influenced by my Sensei, Crazy D, who had a style of his own and used music from all over the world to create a unique and dance-able style that included dubs and dancehall, as well as soca, world music, and rhythms that you could dance too, but also made you think, feel, and become one with the music.  I look to play the kind of music that people feel literally, and become one with, something so memorable that it could be considered life changing.  I want to broaden peoples horizons and introduce them to music they didn't even know was out there, or have a name to describe it.  I will continue to keep pushing the envelope and encouraging people to listen, learn, and live through music.  After all, in the words of Crazy, "I always thought you would be more than just a house DJ"!!!! XOXOX
