From an early age, the passion I had for EDM and House music was already prominent, and at the age of 11, my music tastes already included the likes of legends Eric Prydz and Fatboy Slim.

Just before my 16th birthday, I was officially born into the illustrious world of Disc Jockeying, when I bought my first piece of Djing gear. With my Denon MC6000 midi controller, I spent many hours practising the art of beatmaching and basic mixing. My love for EDM and House grew even stronger, and so did my understanding of the music. My taste in music evolved in the direction of artists such as; Avicii, Miike Snow, Swedish House Mafia and Afrojack.

After completing a DJ course through Fabulush DJ Academy in 2013 - where I was taught personally by the one and only - DJ Lindi Lush, I entered Mutha FM's young DJ talent search competition where I was picked as one of the finalists to perform live at Ratanga junction. In the same year, I had a mix played on both Highveld (947) and KFM radio stations on Stacey Norman's popular Friday evening show.

Now, with greater knowledge, I will continue to delve deeper into the art of DJing, and hope to be producing my own music soon, while refining my skills, and introduce my unique style to the South African and international dance music industry.


Channeling their inner rage and bringing grit and groove back to the metal scene, Reign of Lies is revitalizing the genre, sticking to their root, and playing with a fearless conviction that is lacking of many of today’s bands.

After recording three albums and touring across Europe, Gianni Rosati “Giro” moved to L.A. and began his solo project Reign of Lies with the vision of finding musicians with the same passion and determination as himself. He went to the prestigious Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California where he found those traits in Dustin Duren, Greg Kate .

Dustin “DoubleD” Duren arrived in L.A. after spending 6 years in the United States Marine Corps. He had been a guitarist/vocalist since 2000 and played in bands across the U.S. and Japan. Greg Kate is a young and talented bassist originally from California, who has already played in dozens of L.A. bands.

In the summer of 2012 Reign of Lies began recording their debut album “The New Empire” mixed by Lee Wanner, and mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Soilwork,..) which will be released in early 2013 under the label “Heavyocity Records.” They are also endorsed by the globally renowned clothing company “Keetch” who also endorse bands such as Meshuggah, Unearth, PDP, and Fear Factory.

Reign of Lies is ready to bring their unique style and presence to fans across the globe, and immortalize themselves among metals elite.
