Who wouldn't by a collaboration of two unique DJ’s like Yves De Lacroix and John Evans together with South-African songstress Lokka Vox. ‘Ashamed’ is an anthem-like trancer with Lokka Vox’s vocals beautifully woven through almost the entire track.
The wonderful Fabio XB has given the track completely his own spin, with a sound very suitable for the big stadiums. The Get Far and Lenny Mendy remix has a more drumming rhythm than the original. Trance lovers will definitely love ‘Ashamed’ and its remixes!

The hardest track i've ever wrote. Not because it was difficult, but because of the lyrics. When i was 9 years old, my favorite person in the world took her own life. My grandma, my best friend. I battled for years wondering why, and its only as a fast approaching middle aged adult i see how easily you can spiral into that state of mind. I blamed myself, and asked for years, could i have gone around and stopped it? Even as i child, i remember looking out from my window at the outlines of two textile mills in the distance, the distant thump of thunder on a paticularly rainy night, wondering, would she still be here if i'd have just told her i loved her. 

It's nearly 30 years (Not far off) since i lost her, and I still think of her everyday. 

Suicide is a horrible thing, it hurts and you never really forget hearing those words from police officers at the door to your aunts. 

Check in with those you love, you just never know if they will be here tomorrow. 

There's more to the story, but its for another day.
