Performing for over 20 years, BillyO created a following in his early days by distributing his mixes, and performing at underground events.  In the early 00’s he joined True Family Unit Recordings, performing at and hosting raves, undergrounds and Club nights throughout Chicagoland.  House music has always been his main focal point.  His sets are a mix of slapping hard knocks, disco edits, acid basslines, and deep introspective vocals.  Some of his favorite mixes can be found on his Soundcloud account.  BillyO has been busy over the past few years.  His mix Perseverance was featured on a new Housepit Chi mix tape series.  He’s been organizing and hosting events for True Family Unit recordings, with a focus of increasing the number of releases on the record label.  He joined the Northern Lights Crew as a trusted advisor and is an active artist on the roster.

I live in the dark, trying to figure myself out so I can make some lyrics, corny hooks, before I sprout the meaningful stuff, but often times I'm not so serious, no lyricist, just someone who you'd probably figure is delirious.
