Andrea Oliva’s current status as an established international headline act is the result of an entirely organic journey.

Having taught himself to DJ at the age of 13, Andrea then started working in a record store where he built his extensive collection of upfront promos and white labels from Europe and beyond and he soon secured bookings at some of Switzerland’s best clubs leading to residencies at Terminus and Pravda. With his status in his home country growing, Andrea teamed up with the owner of Nordstern in Basel, Agi Isaku, and the duo were soon throwing sold out ‘Banditz’ parties across Switzerland. His reputation took him across the continent and all the way to Ibiza, where in 2004 he was first invited to DJ at Space.

As his reputation grew so did his diary, and he was invited over to Ibiza to play at Space in summer 2004. Ibiza remains a pivotal location in Andrea´s current DJ career where he plays headlining slots most weeks at ANTS in Ushuaia. However his worldwide touring schedule is equally as extensive counting slots at many of the worlds biggest festivals including Coachella, Tomorrowland, A Summer Story, Sunrise, Dreambeach, Medusa, Sonus, Sunwaves, Kappa Futur and DGTL as career highlights.

Andrea developed his production style under the likes of VIVa Music, Saved Records, Be As One and Cadenza, and has gone on to have tracks on some of the industry´s most recognisable imprints. Several of his tracks including Vermona, My Way, Scream, and his remix of Thick Dick's "Welcome To The Jungle" topped charts across digital download platforms and have become anthems in clubs around the world. His 2015 “4313” album released on Objektivity was also received with critical acclaim and he continues to garner widespread support for his music from clubbers and industry alike.

Throughout few years Andrea has continued with an everstrong release schedule, with EP’s released on Hot Creations, Desolat, Truesoul, Play It Say It, Saved, Moon Harbour, Relief, Rejected, Kaluki, 7Wallace, Rawthentic and Circus. Not forgetting of course his massive remixes of Thick Dick’s “Welcome to The Jungle” (SONDOS), Groove Armada’s “House with Me” (Snatch), Tiga’s “Woke” (Turbo) and Catz n Dogz “New Love” (Pets Recordings), all of which were supported right across the industry and each of which also became huge club anthems. In addition, Andrea completed a solo headline “Andrea Oliva & Friends” residency at Ibiza’s newest superclub Hï Ibiza featuring a string of high profile guests, as well as maintaining an eye watering touring schedule incorporating headline festival sets and tours right across the globe. Other highlights include debut Boiler Room, Mixmag Lab and DJ Mag sessions, another B2B set and live broadcast with Pete Tong as part of the Radio One in Ibiza weekend, a second BBC Radio One Essential Mix and a return to the huge Zurich Street Parade where he performed on the main stage and which was attended by over a million people.

With only one year of music production experience he is supported by the likes of David Guetta, Tiësto, Benny Benassi, Gareth Emery, Paul Oakenfold, Kaskade, Chuckie, Eddie Halliwell, Sander Van Doorn, Hardwell, Erick Morillo, Tommy Trash, Nicky Romero, to name a few.

Avesta's released music on Musical Freedom, the label of EDM Legend Tiësto himself. Earlier productions were signed to the mighty Spinnin' Records, Mixmash Records and Dim Mak Records.

Everything began after Avesta, alias Farshid Abdi, recognized that the only thing he was interested in when he entered clubs, was the music, nothing else. Being the one, destined to take the crowd into one long trip, and influence their feelings with his music, this is what made up his mind.

From that moment everything went fast and with great conviction. He learned the art of spinning & producing without any help, which permitted him to develop his own and unique style, always with the intention of perfectionism regarding the result.

Thusly he stands out going from success to success and his forthcoming productions and remixes are eagerly awaited. Avesta is a hot new talent and undoubtful one to watch for the future.

Back in 2005 the world fell in love with Yves Larock and his infectious summer groove ‘Zookey’. After selling 150,000 copies in France alone and securing a top ten in the French charts, its success was absolutely eclipsed in 2007 by his follow-up release ‘Rise Up’. Distributed in over 45 countries with a staggering twenty #1 official chart positions worldwide, the track established him as one of the most exciting emerging house producers. A prolific producer, his albums ‘Manego,’ ‘Rise Up’, as well as the track ‘Rise Up 2K16’ (which hit #3 on the influential Beatport Top 100) cemented his status, and international tour dates in the world’s biggest and best venues allowed tens of thousands of fans to witness his electrifying DJ sets. 

The past few years for Yves Larock have been dedicated to more behind-the-scenes ventures, including creating compositions for high-end brand advertisement campaigns as well as self-releasing on his own label founded in 2010, Millia Records. In 2020 Yves co-produced ‘Here We Go’ with Swiss pop star Bastien Baker, the official anthem of the 2020 Ice Hockey World Championship. Now in 2021, Yves is set to release two reimagined versions of past hits, starting off with a house edit of his 2005 hit ‘Zookey’ with Lady Bee & Roland Richards. To follow up is the much anticipated ‘Rise Up 2k21’ with Steff Da Campo paying homage to the original reggae track with a newage club feel. Keep an ear out, as that’s not all Yves has in store for 2021! An entirely new generation of music lovers are being introduced to the magic of Larock – and are falling head over heels with what they hear.
